William- John and the team have done the unthinkable by winning 3 back to back major tournaments. Unbeaten the whole tournament, it took a sudden death shoot out in the semi-final to see off a fantastic Kingston (Hull) side and then WJ kept his net empty in the final as he saved all the penalties to see off Invicta.
Belfast Junior Giants do the double by beating Streatham in the final to claim the Telford International Cup for the first time, as they claim 2 major tournaments in less than 10 days. What a final, as WJ got his big opportunity to play up for Fife in a scintillating game against North Ayr. With both net minders taking in excess of 40 shots each, it was the big mans 'time to shine'. With North Ayr trailing 4:3 they pilled the pressure but it was the Fife team that stayed solid to win the cup!
